WHat’s New?

This is an old picture, but it's so cute and he still looks the same anyways <3

Have you ever had a little panic because your animal had the slightest little sneeze or was being extra needy or just seemed a teeny bit off?

And then you thought that you were maybe overthinking it…

But then you really weren't overthinking it because they can't verbalize that they are sick…

And you just really, really know there is something going on…

And then you just sit there staring at them, as if you are going to magically figure it out, …

And then you give up pretty quickly, because you aren't a veterinarian and also, you cannot read the cat's mind (or the mind of whatever animal you are currently thinking of)…

So then you decide...hmmm I will call a friend who is a veterinarian (but she lives in another state…booooo! Come on! Move here with meeeee!) because with all of that staring, you still haven't cracked the code of the silent cat language…

And that friend knows pretty much right on, what is going on!

And then you think...phew, I can chill the eff out now.

Well the story is a little longer than that, and also, I didn't really chill out that much because I love my little baby animals too much. And I know they aren't necessarily little baby animals anymore, but they will always be my babies...(cue Mariah Carey 🎵 Do Do Doop Dum, Do Do Doop Do Doop Da Dum...)

All of my thoughts are disrupted this week because my sweet little kitty boy is having a tooth (or maybe a few teeth) removed today! He had a big ol' puffy cheek and lower eyelid, which turned out to be a tooth abscess. My poor little boy!

So let's hope today goes well!
