Franklin’s Friend Flynn
Hey! Remember me?! I didn't forget about you all!
I came across this post today on my Facebook feed and thought it was a beautiful story and gesture. I felt so much love and had a hard time holding back tears. Tears of both joy and pain all at once. Immediately, I asked the author for permission to share on our blog.
It isn't too long, so give it a read! And if you happen to leave any comments below, I will make sure that they are forwarded on to this amazing mother.
"I know the decision to pump isn’t for everyone, and I 100% understand and support every momma but I just wanted to share my story.
It’s been a little over 4 weeks since I lost my son at 35 weeks. I decided when I got home from the hospital that I wanted to pump so that Flynn’s life could at least make a difference for other babies. Pumping also gave me a purpose, broke up my meaningless days and made me feel close to my baby. It took almost 4 weeks to get approved to donate, and the first day available to drop off my milk was today. Today happens to be my son’s due date so I just felt like it was a sign that my boy was telling me he was with me in this
So in honor of my little angel baby, I dropped off 535 ounces today " - M.J.
Thank you, M.J. for allowing me to post this!
See what I mean?! What an amazing human being 💙
