Franklin’s Friends
Happy Friday!
I have been reaching out (via a few FB pages and IG pages that I follow) to other moms and dads who have experienced stillbirth, miscarriage, infant loss, HELLP syndrome, IVF, and a number of other various pregnancy complications. Beings that 1 in 4 pregnancies result in miscarriage, stillbirth and infant loss, there are many stories out there about men and women who endure this grief for the rest of their lives.
I personally feel that sharing my story is therapeutic and gives me a chance to talk about Franklin. And at the same time, I hope that my story can be educational to others. I have asked if anyone would like to take an opportunity to share on my blog as well. I have had a dozen, or so, responses so far.
Some, wanting to join in to educate others about various topics of grief, pregnancy, infant loss, miscarriage, pregnancy complications, genetics, etc. Some wanting an extra place to vent, or to write as a therapeutic outlet. And some have joined in, to share anything they can about their angels. Because we want them to be known and loved. We want to talk about them. And we want people to remember and love them with us!
Because of this, I want to share with all of you, these beautiful stories. And these beautiful families. And these beautiful angels. Some weeks, instead of my usual writing, I will be sharing stories of another family. I ask that if you comment (which is encouraged, especially if you would like to learn more/ask questions, or would like to send some love to these mamas), please be respectful.
FYI: There may be pictures of some of these angel babies posted within the stories. Franklin's pictures were the first that I had ever seen. I tend to find them very powerful and to cause a lot of emotion. Families with these little angels often love to share pictures, as it brings them joy.
