What’s New?
Good morning!
It is December 1st! Yesterday, I posted (on my Facebook page) a link to a GoFundMe.
More on that…This year, J and I would like to spend some time and money to donate to families in need. I have been looking around to find which organizations and charities could use some support.
So far I really like USPS Operation Santa. I am also looking into "adopt a family" or "adopt a child" for the holidays. I would like to be able to use some of the money we had originally saved for Franklin, to share with other children and families. This year has been extra tough on a lot of families too, so I know there will be plenty of options.
And speaking of GoFundMe/donations. I want to let everyone know that we are in the process of creating our non-profit organization. The GoFundMe page is NOT part of our non-profit, as we still need to get other registration completed.
Forever Franklin's Family -- we have a board of directors chosen so far! Woohoo! We have a lot of ideas in the works, but to start out, we will be doing fundraisers to help supply groceries and gift cards to families that have lost a child/children. If you are reading this and would like to be involved, please let me know. Or if you have any ideas for future events/donations we could use that help too!
Anyways, I am still grumpy this week. I just wanted to get a little information out there.
