Halloween 2021
Happy Halloween (a few days late!)
--Disney's Coco
If you haven't seen this movie, I highly recommend it. It is adorably sweet! And it has vibrant colors and catchy songs. You know...all of that cute Disney stuff!
We had a hotpot dinner and caramel apples with the fam-bam, the night before Halloween (oh! and a few appletinis...) And then on Halloween, we walked puppy dog to the coffee shop. It was lovely and sunny outside, just warm enough weather for tank top wearing. We passed out big candy bars in our front yard and watched all the kids run around down the street. Oh, and I baked pumpkin spice cookies and we started planning Christmas decorations. It was quite the productive and distracting evening.
I couldn't narrow down what to write about this week, so I have like 5 different pages that I have started and couldn't complete. The last few weeks I have been having distraction issues. (I also have been working a lot.) But I almost have 1 section completed. So expect a few coming weeks to have some information about post-partum depression, infections, anemia, etc. Woo! Sounds so fun right?! For real though…The last few weeks, I have had a number of really interesting patients at work that have made me really think about some of this stuff!
Oh and a few completely different topics…some recipes I have tried and a few interesting habits I have started. They may or may not be useful for you. But hey, even if you are grieving something completely different or just need a distraction from something, like life in general, it might be helpful.
Lastly, thank you to those of you who have bought pins! Even though October is over, we still will be selling them. So, don't you even worry one bit…you haven't run out of time yet! :)
I am spending the next week or so, trying to determine where we would like to spend our first donations. So, updates on that soon as well!
We have made it to November! So.....let the Christmas music commence! (It plays at our house year-round, but now we won't be judged quite as much if anyone overhears it.)
